‘The Bachelor’ Will Taylor Frankie Paul’s Winner Be New Lead?

Taylor Frankie Paul has been making headlines after a domestic violence video surfaced showing her throwing metal chairs at her ex, Dakota Mortensen. After the violent video made its rounds across the internet, ABC made the difficult decision to pull the plug on this season of The Bachelorette. They cancelled the airing just days before the premiere. Now, many are speculating about the future of the franchise. If they do decide to move forward with a new season of The Bachelor, there is speculation that Taylor’s final rose winner may be offered the leading role. Everyone is eager to know what will become of The Bachelor franchise after the latest Taylor Frankie Paul scandal. Some feel the network should end the long-running series once and for all. However, it still has a large fan base and could potentially fix its issues if the network really wants to. Technically, The Bachelor was renewed last summer for Season 30. However, ABC decided to scrap it and go with The Bachelorette instead. 

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was cast as the new lead last year. The mother of three decided to give the dating reality show a chance. However, it was later confirmed that she was intimate with Dakota the night before she left for filming. It went so far as to her revealing that she could be ovulating and would continue to be The Bachelorette even if she was expecting. Of course, that brought into question whether or not she was there for the right reasons.

Will Final Rose Winner Become The Bachelor?

Once her season was nixed, some of the men who were competing on the show spoke out. One of those men is Doug Mason. Before the season, Reality Steve revealed who won Taylor’s final rose. It is reportedly Doug. Following the cancellation of the show, he spoke out on social media, saying that he was praying for Taylor. He also said this was her moment, and her moment was blocked. 

It was also reported that she ended things with Doug about a month after filming wrapped due to ongoing feelings for Dakota. Now, some fans are petitioning for Doug to get a shot at love again as the Season 30 lead on The Bachelor. Would he even want the job?
