‘General Hospital’ Marco’s Real Fate Revealed

General Hospital fans have been raving over the past several episodes, ranking them as some of the best. There were some jaw-dropping moments when Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) was stabbed by Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and left for dead. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) had Marco stabilized at the end of Tuesday’s episode. However, new previews reveal that something goes wrong. Will they be able to save his life? Keep reading to find out Marco’s real fate. 

General Hospital: Will Marco Rios Die?

General Hospital fans are eager to know what Marco Rios’ fate is. He risked everything to help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and prove his love to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). Lucas was making big plans for him and Marco. Things were finally looking bright for both of them. Then things went terribly wrong with Britt and Jason’s escape. Marco was stabbed, Britt was knocked unconscious, Cullum was shot in the back by Rocco, and now Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is being interrogated. 

Although Lucas knows what a bad guy Cullum is, he fulfilled his doctor duties and vowed that the evil WSB director would not die on their watch. In a trauma room, Isaiah and Liz were working to save Marco when they revealed he was stable. However, at one point during their efforts, the camera focused on blood dripping and pooling on the floor. In previews for Wednesday, Isaiah is seen saying something is wrong.

It looks like all signs are pointing toward Cullum living and Marco dying. There are lots of clues that Marco will face an untimely death, leaving his father, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), seeking revenge. One huge clue came on Anchondo’s personal Instagram when he shared a post about his one-year anniversary on General Hospital. What caught the attention of many was that his on-screen mother, Eva LaRue, commented on his post. She said, “Love you Mijo! you’ve proven time and again you are capable of great things- On to the next great thing!🔥🙌” Her last words led many to believe it was the end of the road for Marco. 

Anchondo has also been teasing fans with posts about his stabbing and asking if they think it’s the end of Marco. 

Spoilers For Now and Next Week

General Hospital spoilers for the rest of this week and next week also indicate that there will be a funeral. Nobody would care if Cullum died, so it looks like it will be Marco. It was also revealed that Liz will have to deliver some bad news. Will she be the one to tell Lucas that Marco died? 

Sadly, it looks like fans have seen the last of Marco Rios and now will see the dramatic aftermath of his death. Will Sidwell go after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? Nobody saw Cullum at Alexis’ office, so he wouldn’t think his partner would ever do such a thing as to harm his son.
