Sister Wives star Janelle Brown went to Instagram to share the shocking and tragic news that her son Garrison Brown had passed away. His father, Kody Brown, shared the same post as Janelle. What happened?

Janelle and Kody Brown mourn loss of son Garrison

Janelle Brown went to Instagram to share the sad news that their son Garrison had died. She shared two photos of him with her news. One was of him in military uniform, the other was him appearing to be sightseeing.

Janelle captioned the post saying, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”

No other details were given by the family.

People shared more details. The news outlet spoke with Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department. He confirmed that they were called. He said, “On 03/05/2024 Flagstaff Police officers responded to a report of a death inside a home.” The FPD confirmed that Garrison’s brother Gabriel, 22, “discovered Mr. Brown deceased” in what appears to be a suicide.

Officers are saying there is no foul play suspected.

His memory will live on

Garrison Brown was always such a help to his mom Janelle Brown. She and him had many wonderful times together. As for Kody, Garrison and his father had a very strained relationship.

He really pushed his son away when he tried to impose strict Covid rules and attempted to kick him out of the house. Janelle would not allow it.

In an October episode of Sister Wives, Garrison said, “Since I last talked to Dad, I bought a house. I’ve gotten into school and I got the car that I wanted, that he told me I should never get.”

The last post made by Garrison on Instagram shared his new addition to the family. He shared a photo of him holding a cat and said, “Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons. She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice. #crazycatlady”

Garrison had other cats as well.
