‘SLOMW’ Resumes Filming, Hope For ‘Bachelorette’ Airing?

Drama in Taylor Frankie Paul’s personal life led Hulu to put The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on a production pause. ABC followed suit days later by yanking The Bachelorette from the schedule. But now that SLOMW is filming again, does that mean viewers will get to see Season 22 of The Bachelorette? Keep reading to find out what we know so far.

The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives Resumes Filming

Taylor Frankie Paul is well-known to reality TV viewers. She first gained fame on TikTok after outing her swinging lifestyle with her husband and their friends. Her marriage ended when she cheated on her husband outside of their swinging guidelines. The drama caught the eye of Hulu, which created a reality show about Taylor Frankie Paul and her friend group.

Season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives wrapped up in March. Filming was supposed to start on Season 5. But Hulu put it on pause after drama in Taylor Frankie Paul’s personal life. A shocking report claimed that she was under investigation for a domestic violence incident in February 2026 involving her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Dakota Mortensen.

Hope For Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette Season Airing?

A shocking video from a 2023 incident was leaked to the press shortly after news broke about the investigation into a recent incident. Taylor Frankie Paul was pleaded guilty in 2023 to charges related to a domestic violence incident with Dakota Mortensen, but no one knew just how bad the incident was.

The leaked video showed Taylor Frankie Paul hitting, kicking, and throwing barstools at her ex-boyfriend. One chair seemed to hit the daughter she shares with her ex-husband. ABC immediately pulled The Bachelorette from the schedule. The scandal sparked speculation that the entire Bachelor franchise was over.

But ABC revealed good news this week. Both The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise are returning with new seasons in 2027. But what about The Bachelorette? The D.A. in Utah declined to press charges against Taylor Frankie Paul for the 2026 incident involving her ex. With that no longer hanging over her head, ABC could consider airing Season 22.

ABC exec Rob Mills shared with Variety where ABC is on airing the season. In short, the network hasn’t decided what to do about Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season yet. But the executive said that it could potentially air on ABC or stream on Hulu. “I think her season is a wonderful season by Bachelor standards. If it gets seen, I’m sure people will absolutely enjoy it,” he said.

It seems likely that Bachelor Nation fans will be able to watch Season 22 eventually, either on television or streaming. Would you watch if it became available?
