Chris Harrison Returns In New Reality Dating Series ‘The Vow’
Former host of The Bachelor franchise has been teasing a comeback to reality television for quite some time. Now, it’s finally happening. A preview that threw a little shade at his former hosting gig was released on Wednesday. The premiere date has been set. Here is what is known so far about the new reality dating show.
Chris Harrison Is Back!
The internet was buzzing on Wednesday as Chris Harrison finally revealed details behind his epic comeback to reality television. He stepped down from hosting The Bachelor after nearly two decades on the ABC hit. Now, he’s back and better than ever. He and his wife, Lauren Zima, announced The Vow, which will be making its debut on Fox in November.
In the first preview for the show, rose petals are falling from the sky as violin music swiftly plays. It shows the words, “The Bachelor, The Women, The Drama.” It shows clips of pieces of a man’s suit and his hands. Then Chris Harrison pops up and says, “Expecting someone else?” He went on to say, “Roses fade. True love lasts forever.” It shows a rose lying on the ground, and it appears that he’s going to step on it, but then he simply steps over it. A dig at his old hosting gig?
Deadline shared more details about the premiere season of The Vow. The premiere will air on Fox Nation on November 11, with the season finale wrapping up on December 9. The reality show will be a six-part series featuring 30-year-old Jace Cates as its first eligible bachelor. “He will embark on a relationship journey with ten women, each seeking lasting commitment and marriage. Through curated dates and real-world compatibility challenges, the show explores whether shared values, faith, communication, and long-term goals can build a relationship designed to last long after the cameras stop rolling.”

‘It’s Good To Be Back’
Chris Harrison went to his own Instagram to share the preview and said, “It’s good to be back. Time to help people find love again.” He got tons of support from former Bachelor contenders, including Sean Lowe, who said, “It’s like Jordan coming out of retirement.” Sean and his wife Catherine will be making an appearance on Season 1 of the show. Other alums commented as well, with tons of excitement to see Chris back on television.
Harrison is even working with some of the old crew from The Bachelor, including Lindsay Liles, who was in charge of casting. Elan Gale is also a consulting producer for the show. Lindsay went on Instagram and said, “The band is back together! 🌹❤️. So much fun getting to work with Chris Harrison again after all of our years together on The Bachelor. I had such a great time casting THE VOW and am really proud of the incredible cast we found! Can’t wait for everyone to see this one. Watch THE VOW November 11 on Fox Nation! 💍”
Fans are equally excited, with many exclaiming how excited they are to watch.
