‘General Hospital’ Writers Drop Clues, Confirms Mystery Boss?

General Hospital fans are hoping the big reveal of who Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is working for doesn’t take too long to happen. There have been many guesses all over the place. Little clues have been dropped during the show that stir more speculation. Now, head writers have also chimed in and dropped a few clues that could help fans narrow down who the mystery man could be. Or, is there more than one?

General Hospital Writers Give Clues

Head writers for General Hospital are dropping some clues about who could be behind the lab experiments involving Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Dalton has a lab in Port Charles that is top secret. Britt is in Croatia also working in a lab. Whatever they are doing is so top secret that they won’t even send much information via the internet. They sent a courier to Port Charles and then to the Five Poppies Resort with data.

Britt has noted that the mystery boss wants her to be happy. However, Pascal has also used her medication to bribe her into working harder and producing results. So if the boss is aware of that, then they may care about Britt but also have an evil side that wants results a little more.

Plus, it seems like whoever it is, Britt is not afraid to rock the boat. Speculation has been everywhere, including Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and Jerry Jacks.

Now, Soap Opera Digest spoke with the head writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, who offered up some more clues about who “he” is.

They said,

“Britt’s work is one end of a research pipeline – the other end is overseen by Dalton back in Port Charles. The work in question is potentially both very valuable – and very dangerous. It’s the kind of project you’d have to be both crazy and diabolical to undertake. That’s the sort of person Britt and Dalton are working for. The excitement won’t end with her. The Faison/Obrecht clan is just getting started.”

Who Is ‘He’

It sounds like the two biggest possibilities are Faison and Peter. Both are supposed to be dead, but hey, so was Britt and Jason. The part about withholding medication from Britt sounds almost too evil for someone who claims to be a father. This sounds more like it could be half-brother Peter August. Or in an even bigger twist, could they both be alive and pulling the puppet strings?

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) could also have a part in all this. She is leaving the show for a few months, so it’s possible Maxie is about to be abducted by Sidwell to keep her quiet about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Since Peter was obsessed with Maxie, sending her off to Croatia sounds like a good evil plan. Storms herself has said fans will freak out when they see where her storyline takes her.

Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the big reveal. Who do you think it will be?
