‘General Hospital’ Sidwell Puts Dagger To Use, Frames Alexis?

General Hospital fans are ready for someone to take down Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). He’s out of control and seems to be threatening everyone and ruining the lives of whoever his filthy hands touch.  Drew may have crossed a line when he threatened Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Sidwell can play just as dirty as Drew, if not dirtier. Will he finally get what’s coming to him?

General Hospital Setting Up Alexis?

General Hospital fans are appalled at the way Drew treated Danny on Wednesday. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tried to tell him he’s overreacting. However, he didn’t see it that way and said he needed to protect Scout. He brought up moving again and went so far as to really push Alexis and say Sam is gone, so it doesn’t matter what she wants. He also said Scout will have nothing to do with this side of the family anymore.

Now, look back a few months and recall that General Hospital writers made it a point to make sure fans knew that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) had found the dagger that belonged to Helena Cassadine. Alexis thought it was at the bottom of the lake. How did it get back to the house?

Sidwell also ensured that she held the dagger, and she left it there. He was careful not to get his own fingerprints on the deadly weapon.  This is the dagger that killed her mother. After making it clear she didn’t want it, Sidwell still went against her wishes and sent it to her.

Fans are hoping that Alexis will unleash the Cassadine side of her and use the dagger on Drew. Chances are, she may think about it but not actually go through with it. However, that doesn’t mean someone else isn’t plotting to make it happen.

Sidwell Plays Dirty

There has to be a reason Sidwell wanted Alexis to leave her prints on the dagger. He knew at some point it would come in handy. Drew made the mistake of threatening Sidwell. He won’t forget about that.

Since Molly will tell her mom that fighting for custody of Scout is useless because Drew is her father and can move if he wants to, it could make her look desperate to stop him. Enter Sidwell and his men.

This would be the perfect opportunity to take out Drew or at least try to frame Alexis for it. The Cassadine dagger might just have Drew’s name or blood all over it.  While a lot of fans hope Drew is killed off, chances are, whatever attempt on his life is made will not take him out for good.

Right now, this is all just speculation, but at some point, there has to be a reason Sidwell wanted Alexis touching that dagger.
