‘General Hospital’ Assassination Attempt Coming For Drew, Who Will Do It?

General Hospital fans are sick of Congressman Drew Cain and his evil ways. He seems to ruin everyone’s life he touches, and now, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been thrown onto that list. Many believe GH writers are gearing up for a whodunit mystery involving Drew. Chances are, Drew will not die, as Cameron Mathison is an incredible daytime actor and valuable to the show. However, that doesn’t mean someone won’t try, and the list of who may finally snap is growing.

General Hospital Whodunit Coming?

General Hospital fans on social media are discussing Drew Cain and how sinister the man has become. He unleashes his wrath on anyone who stands in the way of what he wants. On Wednesday, Drew went after Danny, demanding his arrest after he took Scout from camp without telling anyone.

When he didn’t get his way and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) told him there were no grounds for an arrest, he went for the jugular with Alexis. Drew announced he’s taking Scout to Washington, D.C., whether they like it or not. He told her that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was gone, and so it didn’t matter what she would have wanted.

Drew even went a step further and said Scout will have nothing to do with that side of the family again. Alexis tried to argue, but to no avail. A single tear slid down her cheek. Fans said they think it’s time for Alexis’s Cassadine blood to emerge and take care of Drew once and for all.

Drew Cain is a hated man, and there are a number of people who could snap and try to take him out. They may not be successful, but they sure will try. The weapon? Many believe this is where the Cassadine dagger will come into play. Who will try to end Drew once and for all?

The List Of Suspects Is Long

There are a lot of people in Port Charles who despise Drew Cain. So, should an attempted murder take place, the suspect list is long. He definitely has a ton of enemies. His current decision to take Scout away and ban her from Sam’s family makes Alexis a top suspect. Molly will tell her there’s nothing she can do to keep Drew from leaving Port Charles, so desperation may sink in.

Kristina Davis (Kate Mansi) could also let rage take over and do the deed. Her craziness has shown its ugly head before, so she might decide to take matters into her own hands. She isn’t going to let anyone destroy her family.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will always be a suspect. He’s Drew’s brother, and everyone knows there is animosity between them. He is too focused on Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the moment to really care about Drew as long as he stays away from Danny.

Trina Robinson ( Tabyana Ali) is really sick of Drew hurting her family. He’s been blackmailing both of her parents, and her relationship with Kai is ruined thanks to him. If he continues to torment her family, watch out.

Of course, this also puts Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at the top of the list. They both have good reasons to hate Drew, and at some point, they may decide enough is enough, and Drew will never stop his blackmail scheme.

Then, there’s Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). She continues to spiral out of control and blames Drew for getting her children taken away from her. She already got violent and slapped Lucas Jones, so if her rage continues, who knows what she’s capable of. Her bloodline does have some crazy in it.

Other suspects could be on the list as well, including Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
