‘General Hospital’ Hitman Corners Carly; Least Likely Hero Saves Her

General Hospital fans are on the edge of their seats as things heat up in Port Charles. Last time fans saw Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), things were not going her way at Wyndemere. She was cornered by a WSB hitman and was trying to grab a fireplace poker to get her way out of the situation. She swung, but it’s unknown if it hit the target. Previews for Thursday reveal Carly struggling on the floor. Fans know the chances of Carly dying are near zero, so something has to happen to save her. Someone might step in and save her, and their identity might shock everyone. Who is it?

General Hospital: Who Will Save Carly?

There are a few different possibilities as to who will save Carly from an early grave. While the WSB hitman is trying to take her down and eliminate her due to Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) orders. Carly is fighting for her life and somehow has to escape the evil clutches of the hitman. Since she probably can’t fend him off alone, someone has to intervene and save the day. 

On Wednesday, fans also saw Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) get in his car to leave town. He threw his wallet down after taking out money and photos of him and James. Will he head to Canada immediately, or will he make a detour, say to Spoon Island? It’s entirely possible that Cassius decides to go let Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and his mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), free before he darts out of town. He has always wanted Joss to know he keeps his promises. If he leaves, she’s as good as dead. 

When he goes in, he may come upon the struggle between Carly and the WSB hitman. There’s a high chance Cassius saves her by knocking the hitman unconscious, giving Carly time to escape. He will then have to go and free Joss and Liesl, who are also facing another agent. Will he save them both, or will something go terribly wrong? Could he find himself shot and in the hospital, awaiting a similar fate as his twin, Nathan West?

Someone Else Could Save Carly

If Cassius doesn’t make it there to save Carly from the hitman, there is another possibility. The mysterious Z is supposed to make his debut today and is believed to be John Oliver. He came to Port Charles after Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) sought him out per Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) orders. Since he risked it all to get help, Z may let him go. Valentin may show up at Wyndemere and get there in the nick of time to save Carly. 

Of course, Cassius could still also show up. Regardless, someone will step in and save the day for Carly, Joss, and Liesl. 

This is all speculation for now. Fans will have to tune in to see how it all plays out. What do you think will happen?
