She previously announced that they decided to build their very own home. They met with multiple architects to decide what’s best for them. Josie recently took to IG to share a clip featuring her family’s first picnic on their new property. The Bringing Up Bates star captioned, “First picnic at the place we’ll one day call home, from the drafts 🪁🔅🌳🧺📍 #newbuild #property #family #building #moving.” Josie and her family had a pizza while sitting on their massive land. They later played around, and many fans were left in awe by how big the kids have grown. Josie didn’t share any photos from the construction of their dream home. New Pics from Josie’s Dream House

Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media react to several IG Stories posts featuring the current construction of Josie’s dream house. The page has already been sharing the progress of Josie’s dream home. However, some were not impressed by the house. According to them, Josie and Kelton had the opportunity to design their own home, but it seems they decided not to include kids’ rooms. But it should also be mentioned that the construction page has not yet fully shared the entirety of the house. Several commenters were still impressed by the property, saying that the Bates sisters seem to have a competition on who will have the best house.

• “You’re custom building and couldn’t get the kids their own spaces?!”
• “wow, these girls are really trying to one up one another. I wonder how Erin and Alyssa feel as they’re never going to have homes like their younger sisters.”
• “For a dream home it’s pretty underwhelming. All that money and the kids still have to share rooms?”
• “Primary suite looks like it’s at the bottom of a hill. Without more context, might be an optical illusion though. The house so far is a series of boring rectangles and squares. Well, minus the one garage stall that’s curved (which looks bizarre right now).”
• “All that land and only a 2 car garage? The house looks small.”
• “I kinda like the size. Everything doesn’t have to be huge rooms. My twin sister and I shared a room and we had the best time. I’d guess they’ll have a play or school room… and they have a big yard to play in. I’d rather have this size of a house instead of carlins mansion but that’s just my opinion.”
