Taylor Frankie Paul has three children with two different men. She shares two children, Indy and Ocean, with her ex-husband, Tate Paul. The former couple agreed to joint custody in the divorce. Her other child, Ever, is at the center of a custody battle with her former boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. They were back in court this week over custody of the two-year-old. Keep reading to find out what happened.

Taylor Frankie Paul Lost Custody After Alleged Domestic Violence

Taylor Frankie Paul’s year started off great. She filmed a season of ABC’s The Bachelorette after ending her relationship with Dakota Mortensen. Their toxic behavior was documented on Hulu’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reality show. Production on the show was paused in March amid allegations of a domestic violence incident between the former couple.

Her season of The Bachelorette was shelved by ABC after news of the domestic violence investigation and the release of a video from a previous violent incident. Prosecutors in Utah declined to file charges against either Taylor Frankie Paul or Dakota Mortensen for an alleged incident that happened in February. SLOMW resumed filming, but ABC is still holding back on releasing The Bachelorette.

During all of this, Dakota Mortensen filed for full custody of Ever, the son he shares with Taylor Frankie Paul. The judge granted him temporary full custody and only gave TFP limited visitation. The judge wasn’t happy with the behavior of either of them.

Back In Court Again, What Happened?

Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend appeared in court this week virtually. The issue of custody was revisited. The judge barred the reality stars from disparaging each other in the press or on social media. Taylor Frankie Paul received a small win when the judge lifted visitation restrictions. She will now be able to see her son without supervision.

Furthermore, she was granted custody one day per week, though no overnights. Additionally, she’ll have custody of her son during alternating weekends. The judge ruled that Dakota Mortensen will remain the “custodial parent” on holidays, according to PEOPLE magazine.

Taylor Frankie Paul revealed on social media days before the court appearance that her son, Ever, hadn’t been at home with her in a while. But now the mother and son can reunite. Her custody agreement with her ex-husband remains in place.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars were granted restraining orders against each other earlier this year. However, they can still film the reality show and attend the reunion.

The judge’s ruling was a huge win for Taylor Frankie Paul. Many Bachelor Nation fans still hope to see her season of The Bachelorette. Stay tuned for more about that.
