‘Bachelor’ Kelsey Anderson Shares Update On ‘Stressful’ Wedding Planning

Joey Graziadei was open with the women on The Bachelor that he wasn’t rushing into marriage and wanted a long engagement. In fact, Lexi Young left the show over it. She wanted to marry ASAP. But she wasn’t the right one for Joey Graziadei anyway. He fell hard for Kelsey Anderson. She happily accepted his proposal. They both agreed that they wanted to enjoy their engagement for a while before marrying and eventually having children.

Kelsey Anderson recently joined new Bachelor Happy Hour hosts Rachel Recchia and Charity Lawson for a chat. She revealed that they’re close to booking a venue for the wedding. The couple is looking at possible venues all over the country because they don’t feel tied to any specific location.

Kelsey Anderson Opens Up About ‘Stressful’ Wedding Planning

Kelsey Anderson expressed shock at how fast time goes when planning a wedding. She said that she still hasn’t looked at dresses. “I haven’t looked at dresses yet, which I found out recently — I was talking to one of my friends that just got married — and she was like, ‘Yeah, girl, eight months out is a short notice for wedding dresses.’ I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, it just keeps creeping back up.’”

The Bachelor alum admitted it was “stressful” but praised her fiance for playing an active role in planning their wedding. “Joey has booked all of our tours. He has been coordinating with our wedding planner and he’s been making plans. Because I was so stressed out and sometimes when I get too overwhelmed, I completely shut down.”

“So Joey has been helping so much with planning all of that. I know once we get the wedding venue locked in, which honestly at this point I’m like, ‘Can we get married wherever?’ I think he’s going to curate it with the little details. And I’ll be way more hands-on with that,” Kelsey Anderson said.

Dancing With The Stars Pros Have Special Role In Wedding

In addition to helping find a venue, Joey Graziadei has the inside track on choreographers for the first dance. In an interview with E! News, Kelsey Anderson said that she hopes Dancing With The Stars pros Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy will help her learn to dance.

Joey Graziadei won Season 33 of the ABC dance competition with Jenna Johnson as his partner. The DWTS pros will likely have some kind of role in the wedding, possibly helping with the first dance.
