Kody Brown Joins Another Reality Show, ‘Sister Wives’ Over?

On Wednesday, it was announced that TLC star Kody Brown is joining another reality show. His decision to sign up for another show has fans wondering if Sister Wives is over for good. After Season 19 wrapped up, fans discussed what else they could talk about should Season 20 happen. Is Kody’s new show a hint that Sister Wives has been canceled?

Sister Wives Star Kody Brown Shocks Fans, Joins New Show

Sister Wives star Kody Brown revealed on Wednesday that he is a part of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 4. The cast announcement had fans picking their jaws up off the floor after seeing Kody was chosen to participate.

Kody himself shared a very rare social media post promoting the upcoming season as well. He shared the video of the cast announcement and said, “This was the most exciting experience of an age! Tune in and watch me and my peers suffer! Wanna see me cry? No…like full on sobbing! @realityclubfox @agelventertainment #SpecialForcesFOX”

Kody is the last person fans would expect to join such a challenging show. In fact, many went to social media to discuss the chances of Brown even making it past the first challenge. What are they all saying? Most took it as a perfect opportunity to bash him more. Here are some of their comments:

• “He could leave Robin & the little kids for this? But, couldn’t leave them to be present for another daughter’s surgery?!”
• “This guy couldn’t handle living in Janelle’s RV but he can do this?? 😂😂😂”
• “Poor Kody had to take a second job to pay for all of Robyn’s dollies.”
• “Guys!!!!!…. The sacrifices he made……”

Most fans do not believe Kody can hack it. In fact, some even speculate he will be the first one eliminated.

Is Sister Wives Returning?

So far, TLC has not made an official announcement about whether or not Sister Wives Season 20 will be happening. However, some shared that they saw Meri Brown filming at a restaurant near her Airbnb. The filming they saw was well after Season 19 had wrapped up filming.

Many took this as confirmation that the show isn’t going anywhere, at least for one more season. It’s yet to be seen if they can find material to keep fans interested in watching the broken family continue living life.

There’s a good chance the show may wrap up after Season 20. Perhaps a few of the wives will have spin-offs to continue their journey on screen.
