Sister Wives Season 19 is currently airing and everyone is seeing the aftermath of Kody Brown’s wives leaving him. Christine was the first wife to leave, followed by Janelle Brown and then finally Meri. Robyn is the only wife remaining. As the former wives move on with their lives they are wanting to settle things where Coyote Pass is concerned. Janelle and Christine discussed it earlier this season and she noted that she was considering getting a lawyer. Did she end up getting a large settlement for her part ownership? Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is concerned about herself and the other former wives getting their fair share of the money from selling Coyote Pass. Christine Brown sold her portion off to Kody for $10 in 2022.

So, the only ones currently entitled to funds from the sell of the property would be Janelle, Robyn, Meri and Kody. Janelle has already warned Meri that she should be cautious when it comes to the land and what is fair and deserved.

There are rumors flying and a post on Reddit that alleges Janelle did receive a huge amount of money for her share of the property. According to the Reddit post, Janelle received a massive amount of $340,000 in 2023. Is it true?

Janelle Brown reportedly paid off two of the plots in June 2023. The number matches up with the exact amount she paid Kody to “settle” the debt. It seems most likely that AI is pulling information to show that Janelle paid into the land instead of the assumed “settlement.” If it were true perhaps her attorney managed to get her back what she at least paid in.

Kody Brown Says He Will Not Divulge Information

In one of the latest episodes, Kody Brown states that he will not divulge information to the other wives about what he is doing with Coyote Pass. He said he would pay the note off when it comes due but he owes them no explanation. He also said he refuses to say anything and have it go through the rumor mill of their broken family.

If the profit from the land was divided fairly it would be that each of them get a quarter. However, Janelle remains skeptical that Kody will be fair. She said as much to Meri in one of their conversations.

If the funds were divided fairly upon the sale of the land or Kody buying them out, each would get approximately $350,000 if they got what the land appraised for.
