‘Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Ready To ‘Lawyer Up’ Against Kody
It looks as if the Sister Wives have had enough of their ex-Kody Brown. Fans learned on Thursday that Christine Brown is already taking action and taking Kody to court over their daughter Truely. She is going after him for custody and also retroactive child support since Kody is not really in her life and supporting her. Now, it appears Janelle Brown is out to do the same thing. However, since her children with Kody are grown, she’s going after him for the money he should owe her because of the land. What is she saying? Keep reading to find out more.
Sister Wives Janelle Brown Ready To Seek Legal Assistance
In an upcoming preview for Sunday night, September 22 episode of Sister Wives, Janelle Brown is seen talking to Christine. US Weekly shared a clip of them speaking to each other about Coyote Pass and Kody not willing to talk to Janelle about it.
Janelle said, “If Kody’s not willing to buy me out … I’m going to have to do something with it.” She went on to say, “I think I’m going to have to lawyer up. That’s the only way I’m ever going to get any kind of decision out of him.”
Christine agreed with Janelle saying she thinks it is really smart to get a lawyer involved. She then asked Janelle if her marriage to Kody was really over. After a brief pause, Janelle says yes. When Christine asks if Kody knows this she says the words have not been spoken officially. However, he won’t talk to her and hasn’t in a very long time. They handle everything via text.
What Made Janelle Decide This?
In the preview for the upcoming episode of Sister Wives, Janelle says she visited Montana with her daughter Maddie and saw everything she could have there. Christine said it’s a no-brainer because she could live in Montana near her child or she could live on Coyote Pass with possibly Kody and Robyn as neighbors. She even noted that Meri Brown could even decide to live there.
In a confessional, Janelle said, “I really have no legal rights to make any kind of claim on Kody’s property. We’re not legally married. It’s not like I’m just calling a lawyer and saying, ‘I need to divorce this person.’ No, it’s really complicated because there’s no legal marriage.”
Christine thinks it’s ridiculous Janelle would have to lawyer up but agrees it’s totally necessary.
It sounds like Kody may be dealing with two lawsuits from two of his exes very soon.
What do you think Janelle should do? Stay tuned for more updates.
