General Hospital fans are finding it hard to believe that Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) is really inheriting basically everything that belonged to Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), including the beloved house. Many think that she’s an imposter sent by Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) or even Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). However, there could be another option that would leave fans stunned. What are Ronnie’s true motives for shaking up the Quartermaines, especially Tracy (Jane Elliot)?

General Hospital Will Learn Ronnie’s True Motives For Being In Port Charles

General Hospital fans are eager to why what is really going on with Ronnie Bard. The supposed long-lost sister of Monica shows up out of the blue following her death and is awarded the coveted mansion seems to be screaming scam. However, maybe it’s not a scam by Martin or Drew. Perhaps Monica Quartermaine set this whole thing up herself.

Family is important to Monica, and everyone assumed that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) would get the mansion, as she adored him so much. Another option was, of course, Tracy or Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) getting the house. But, everyone was stunned when it went to nobody close to her, but rather her sister, whom she never mentioned to anyone.

Maybe Monica wanted to put her family through the ultimate test. She possibly wanted to see whose true colors would show. Monica could have summoned her long-lost sis to come and see who would be welcoming to her and who would show their greed and hate. So far, everyone except Tracy has been accepting of Ronnie and treating her as family.

If this is the case, and it was all set up by Monica, she would be proud of her family for showing love instead of greed. Plus, Tracy’s reaction to protect it all may be just what she anticipated as well.

Ronnie Will Be Leaving Soon

Fans already know that Erika Slezak’s role on General Hospital is short-lived. So it makes sense that she was there on Monica’s orders. Once she does everything Monica asked of her, there’s a good chance that Ronnie will reveal the real reason she is there. Most likely, Monica did leave Ronnie a large sum of money. However, in the end, the mansion and other funds will go to her beloved family.

The fake will that was read will be replaced by the real deal after Ronnie does what she set out to do at Monica’s request. This would make sense as everyone knows that she is not sticking around and so probably isn’t the mansion’s rightful owner.

Things will start to come to light this week when Tracy and Ronnie get into another heated argument, but this time, Ronnie demands she get out.

Of course, this is just speculation, and Ronnie’s real reasons for being in Port Charles could be much darker. However, this all makes perfect sense. Monica wants to know that the family will still be united after her death.
