‘General Hospital’ Cullum Turns Table On Lucas, Sets Him Up

There’s a lot happening in Port Charles, and there are lots of people who have targets on their backs. There is a lot of whispering and a lot of planning happening. Two of the biggest targets in General Hospital are Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). They are supposed to be working together, but little does Sidwell know that Cullum stabbed him in the back by killing Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). Cassius or “Nathan” put a bug in Sidwell’s ear that maybe Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) didn’t love Marco as much as he claims to. It was enough to take suspicion away from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and get Sidwell thinking long and hard about who killed his son. Suspicions are already there, so it won’t take Cullum much effort at all to turn the tables away from him and point them toward someone else. Is he about to set Lucas up?

General Hospital: Lucas In For Huge Shock

Lucas thinks he has the upper hand with Sidwell by agreeing to stay at Wyndemere. They are both grieving the loss of Marco Rios, and Sidwell thought they could do so together. Of course, Pascal won’t like this arrangement at all. He already blames Lucas for Marco’s death and is making it quite obvious that he has very strong feelings for the deceased attorney. 

Thanks to Cassius Faison, Sidwell is already thinking that perhaps he was wrong about Lucas, and maybe he has more to do with Marco’s death than he believed. Sidwell has not spoken to Cullum since he’s been in the hospital. Once these two meet face to face, Cullum will want to hide his tracks about who really murdered Marco. So, since Marco’s cell phone is the only thing missing from the crime scene, it seems that he will use it to frame Lucas for murder. 

Once Cullum learns Lucas is at Wyndemere, it will make it even easier to plant the phone among Lucas’ belongings. Lucas will be in for quite a shock when he realizes the tables have been flipped on him. Will Sidwell believe Lucas is the one who murdered Marco in cold blood?

Who Will Bring Down Cullum?

Lucas and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) know that Cullum killed Marco. However, they are keeping quiet because it could place them in the line of fire if they divulge that information too soon. Sadly, Lucas is not safe if Cullum plants that phone. Nobody would believe him if he came forward and said it was Cullum who killed Marco. Britt desperately needs her meds, so chances are she and Lucas will not be the ones to destroy him. 

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentine Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are also trying to take down Sidwell and Cullum. Carly will only get more riled up if she finds out this evil man framed her brother. Perhaps she and Valentine will succeed at finally ruining Cullum’s plans to finish Faison’s cold fusion project. 

Right now, nothing has been confirmed about who will bring down this villain. Plus, what will happen if he figures out Rocco Falconeri is the one who really shot him?

As May sweeps edges closer, things are surely going to get even more suspenseful and dramatic. What do you think will happen next?
