Tyler Cameron won over viewers when he was on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. He didn’t win over her heart. She chose someone else and sent him home heartbroken. Despite his popularity with fans, he never joined another dating show in the franchise. He remains close to ABC, though. He recently joined Tayshia Adams as judges on Bachelor Mansion Makeover. 

He dated several high-profile women after Hannah Brown dumped him, including Gigi Hadid. Tyler Cameron recently hinted at impending fatherhood. Keep reading to find out his plans for children. 

Tyler Cameron Revealed Why He Hasn’t Proposed To Longtime Girlfriend

Tyler Cameron had a few short-lived romances after The Bachelorette. But he found love in the most unexpected place: his home state of Florida. He met Tate Madden in 2022 while filming a home renovation show for Amazon Prime. They quietly dated for about a year before going public with their romance in 2024. 

The couple renovated their home in Juniper, Florida, documenting it on Instagram and YouTube. Despite dating for several years now, Tyler Cameron has yet to propose to Tate Madden. They discussed the delay in a recent video for their YouTube channel, Under Construction with Tate and Tyler.

There’s a simple explanation for why he hasn’t proposed: he hasn’t chosen the right ring. There was miscommunication between the couple over ring shopping. Tate Madden said that at this point, she would accept a pop ring if it meant a proposal. 

Tyler Cameron admitted to “snooping” on Pinterest and the internet to narrow down what kind of ring his girlfriend wants. A proposal might be coming soon if they can get on the same page and go ring shopping together.

Even though he has yet to propose, Tyler Cameron wants kids with Tate Madden ASAP. In another video, she asked him where he saw himself in five years. He revealed a shocking plan about their relationship. 

“[In] the next five years, we are married. We have a three-year-old, and a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. No, maybe a three[-year-old] and a one-year-old. Maybe a three[-year-old] and a one-and-a-half-year-old, you know?” he told his longtime girlfriend about his plans for starting a family.

The Bachelor Nation star said he wasn’t sure if they would still be living in Florida or not. in three to five years, I hope we have our own HGTV type show, where we’re renovating homes together and we’re on TV together doing stuff,” he said about his career plans. 

Tyler Cameron added, “I think it might be difficult with kids, but I think if we work hard enough, we can create the help and create the opportunities.” He wants it all: a wife, kids, and a lucrative career in his real estate business.

Bachelor Nation fans shouldn’t be surprised if Tyler Cameron proposes to his longtime girlfriend soon and starts a family within the next few years.
