‘Love Island’ Clarke Carraway Finally Reveals Truth Behind Taylor Split

Clarke Carraway is finally opening up about what went wrong with Taylor Williams. The Love Island Season 7 alum revealed the incident that ultimately became the breaking point in her relationship with Taylor during the Sunday, Sept. 20 episode of the Kaylor’s Crash Outs podcast.

Kaylor Martin, who appeared on the season before Clarke and Taylor met in Casa Amor, asked Clarke about the couple’s split and what happened behind the scenes.

“Since seeing you guys on Beyond My Villa, that’s the last I’ve seen you guys interacting, and then obviously like everyone knows, we’ve heard in the press that you’re not together anymore, what, if you’re willing to share, what happened?” Kaylor asked.

Clarke Says Taylor Crossed a Line 

Clarke explained that while she considers Taylor “super nice” and “super friendly,” some of his behavior crossed a line for her when they were together.

The women discussed a viral fan-recorded clip that showed Taylor standing in a hallway near a women’s restroom, smiling and talking with another woman while Clarke was not around.

“I don’t play that,” Clarke told Kaylor.

Kaylor agreed, adding, “I think there is something wrong with that because if he knows where you stand, then you shouldn’t be acting like that.”

The reality stars also acknowledged that life in the public eye can make innocent interactions look far more suspicious. Fans are constantly filming reality stars, meaning even harmless conversations can quickly become viral moments and fuel speculation.

Still, Clarke said the viral video wasn’t what ultimately ended her relationship with Taylor.

Clarke’s Breaking Point Revealed 

Instead, she pointed to a much more personal incident as her “breaking point.”

Clarke recalled having “a heated discussion” with Taylor while visiting his home state of Oklahoma. According to Clarke, the argument escalated to the point where she asked Taylor to take her home.

“I asked him to, you know, pull over. I want to go home. Like I’m in Oklahoma, but my flight is a couple hours away from now and just take me home and basically I was left,” she explained.

Clarke clarified that Taylor didn’t force her out of the vehicle. However, she said that after she got out of the car, Taylor drove away and left her at a gas station.

The Love Island star then reached out to one of Taylor’s family members, who picked her up and took her to a hotel.

Clarke claimed she didn’t hear from Taylor again until the following day.

“And I feel like for me, I was really looking for more than just that,” she said.

For Clarke, the incident apparently became the moment when she realized the relationship wasn’t giving her what she needed.
