‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Has Shocking New Love After Jason Dumps Her

General Hospital fans thought that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would get their happily ever after when he was released from WSB custody. However, the fact that Britt knew Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was held captive on Spoon Island didn’t sit well with Jason. It proved that he couldn’t trust her, and therefore he ended their relationship. Once again, Britt is all alone. The good news is that she may not be alone for very long. Spoilers indicate that Britt will have a shocking new love interest in the coming months. Who will it be?

General Hospital: Britt Finds Love After Jason

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that while Britt is currently heartbroken and guarded, she won’t remain that way for long. She and Jason are over because she failed to alert anyone or even try to help Anna herself when she was being held at Wyndemere by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). She’s feeling pretty bad these days, but it’s only a matter of time before someone swoops in and romances her. 

The stage has been set since this character first appeared in Port Charles. It’s a perfect scenario. Two people who really don’t care about each other and tend to step on each other’s toes somehow seem to find themselves attracted to one another, at least in soaps. 

Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) could end up being the perfect match for Britt. It’s the perfect love story. She wants nothing to do with him and his connection to the WSB, yet somehow they seem to constantly cross paths. He actually led Jason to find her when Anna had her captive on Mount Emerson. Tristan’s attitude toward Britt has softened since he first arrived in Port Charles. 

It’s becoming quite clear that writers are moving toward an enemies-to-lovers kind of storyline.

When Will It Happen?

Right now, Britt doesn’t want anyone. She’s heartbroken over losing Jason. However, once things calm down, she might start thinking about slowly putting herself back out there. She won’t give in easily, but at some point these two will connect on a romantic level. Who knows, it could make Jason insanely jealous to see another man with her. Or, maybe she starts out using Tristan to make Jason jealous, and it backfires when she develops real feelings for him. 

Nothing will be easy for Britt and Tristan, but it does appear that this is who the writers intend to be her new love interest. Writers have not confirmed if this will, in fact, take place, but it appears they are heading in this direction. What do you think about their potential pairing?
