‘General Hospital’ Anna Off Deep-End, Pulls Gun, Threatens Lives

General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 31 reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is going off the deep end. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has been in her head for months, trying to lure her to the dark side. Her hallucinations may finally get the better of her when she snaps and pulls a gun. As lives are threatened, will they be able to escape Anna’s wrath, or will this be the end of the road for a Port Charles resident?

General Hospital: Anna Pulls A Gun

General Hospital previews for this week reveal that a lot is happening. There are a lot of panicked faces in the preview video, including Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Ava Jerome (Maura West), and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). In another scene, Anna has officially lost it and gone further off the deep end. The Peter hallucinations have been telling Anna that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) needs to go. 

Peter is successfully convincing Anna that Britt was involved in her being held captive at Wyndemere. With Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) supposedly dead already, Anna needs to finish the job and eliminate Britt once and for all. In the preview, Britt is seen in the dark woods asking Anna why they had to meet way out here. Anna raises a gun at Britt and says, “So no one can hear you scream.”

There’s a good chance that Anna lured Britt to the land she wanted from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Will she kill her or hold her captive in a cabin in the woods? Or could she be daydreaming of this moment and hoping to make it a reality soon?

Dead Body Found In Pool

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) continues his plan to search Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) room for evidence against him. Ava Jerome slipped Brennan some sleeping pills, and he was already feeling the effects of them as he stumbled toward the elevator. Rumors have been flying that Chris McKenna is leaving GH. So the body that Danny and Charlotte find floating in the pool is probably Brennan. 

Charlotte will no doubt immediately call Carly and Valentin. In the preview, someone can be heard saying, “he’s dead.” Things are heating up this week in Port Charles. Will Drew and Ava get away with what they are looking for in Jack’s room? Who will get blamed for Jack’s death?
