An Oklahoma mother has been found dead. The body of Spring Weems was discovered in a trash bin at her residence after a neighbor heard her two teenage sons fighting in the backyard. The neighbor heard them arguing while one accused the other of killing their mother. 911 was called when the neighbor became concerned that something could really be wrong. Oklahoma Mother Spring Weems Found Dead In Trash Bins

The shocking murder of an Oklahoma mother has made national news after being discovered dead in a trash bin. A neighbor of Spring Weems in Logan County, Oklahoma, heard her two sons fighting in their backyard. Weems had not been seen in days, and when the neighbor went to break up the fight, one of the brothers accused the other of killing their mother. Police were called to the residence and, upon searching the premises, discovered the 49-year-old mother in the family’s trash bins.

After speaking with the neighbor and both of Weems’ adopted teenage sons at the residence located in the Cascata Falls neighborhood in Edmond, Oklahoma, one of the boys was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Hunter McKee spoke with an Oklahoma City news station and said, “This is just a terrible case. Nobody deserves to die as this woman did.”

The boy charged with her death is a freshman in high school. The second adopted son is being held at a Canadian County Juvenile Detention Center. Right now, the cause of her death has not been identified. However, McKee said she sustained injuries that are consistent with homicide.
