‘General Hospital’ Is Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) Here To Stay?

General Hospital fans are wondering if Rory Gibson is here to stay. He is the lucky one chosen to replace Chad Duell as Michael Corinthos. He’s done a great job. However, there has been rumors that his stay could be short-lived. Is therelived. Is there any truth to it? Or, could Chad Duell be making a comeback to reclaim the role he played for 15 years?

General Hospital Saying Goodbye To Rory Gibson Already?

General Hospital fans have already deemed Rory Gibson as one of the best recasts in history. He has swooped in and made a big impact. Fans love him and while everyone loved Chad Duell, there’s just something about Gibson that screams Michael Corinthos.

Chad played Michael for 15 years before deciding to step away from the role to deal with personal issues. He always noted that Frank Valentini left the door open for him if he chose to return.

Many thought he would come back. However, as time went on things began to leak that Rory was taking over.

This week, everyone began thinking Rory’s stay was short lived. Michael was determined that he was not going to lose his children. So should he have lost the custody battle, Michael was ready to grab Wiley and Amelia and flee the country.

Plus, some of Chad’s social media posts had fans questioning if he was planning to take back the role. Now, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

Thankfully, Michael won as Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) collapsed in despair. There is no doubt that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is about to make big moves putting Michael in further danger  However, it seems that Rory Gibson is here to stay, at least for now.

The Wrath Of Drew

After Willow lost custody of Wiley and Amelia, she completely flipped out. Michael will have to watch his back as Drew plots his next move.

He isn’t going to just lose graciously. The question is how far will he go? Drew will encourage Willow to not give up.

Will they both cross deeper into insanity and kidnap the kids? Or will Willow find herself locked up in an insane asylum while Drew continues his evil plans to get everything he wants.

It may seem like things are settled and going Michael’s way but Drew is just getting started. He has no intention of giving up. There’s lots that can still go wrong for both sides.

With all that said, fans can look forward to seeing lots more of Rory.
