‘General Hospital’ 2 Week Spoilers: Medical Danger, Monica’s Storyline Comes To An End?

General Hospital two two-week spoilers reveal that there will be more twists and turns coming for residents of Port Charles. Since Leslie Charleson’s death on January 12, fans have wondered when the soap plans to give her a proper farewell on screen. For more than seven months, writers have continued to tell viewers that Monica Quartermaine is in failing health and seems to always be upstairs. At some point, she has to pass away on the show to give the storyline closure and honor this legendary character. It might be happening soon. Here is what we know.

General Hospital Gearing Up To Say Goodbye To Monica?

Two weeks spoilers revealed that this week, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will be working hard to save the life of someone he cares about. Then, on August 20, he will be delivering some bad news. This could be getting fans ready to say goodbye to Monica. It seems to be a question often asked by fans: when will the show honor Leslie Charlson and write Monica off the show?

Another clue that this spoiler could be referring to Monica is that Erika Slezak is set to join the show this fall. The character she will be portraying has not been shared yet. However, many believe that she will play Monica’s sister. This ties back to the letter addressed to Monica that was found on the floor at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison). Why she shows up now is yet to be seen. Is she coming to try and steal the Quartermaine fortune after Monica’s passing?

Of course, there is no guarantee the medical danger is really about Monica. Other speculation is that Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will suffer another stroke after being grilled about insurance fraud.

Other Drama In Port Charles

There is a lot more drama to come in Port Charles as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) realizes that Drew was never planning to honor their truce. Will it come out that he is the one who launched an investigation into Stella? Spoilers say Curtis will become vengeful.

Other spoilers reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have a theory and form an alliance with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). Perhaps she puts clues together and realizes that Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) is the agent who blew Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn’s (Bryce Durfee) cover. Will Brennan take her out?

It is also revealed that after Joss walks in and saves Vaughn, he realizes she isn’t so bad to have around, helping. Will Joss and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) see each other at the resort, adding more chaos?

Spoilers also say that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will confide in Brennan after alarms go off in her head. Is she figuring out that something is not right with Joss?

Custody Battle Heats Up

Then, there’s Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). She will have a big request of someone. Will it be Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)? It seems like she and he are heading down a path that could lead them both to some steamy rekindled passion.

At Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) place, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will overhear Congressman Cain trying to blackmail Sonny. He threatened to have Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) thrown in jail for assault if Sonny doesn’t do what he asks. Since Sonny knows that Turner is listening, he will be careful as to what he says.

Spoilers say that Sonny and Michael will get the upper hand in a situation. Will Drew have him arrested? Or, could Turner step up and intervene?
