Ryan Paevey Shares Huge Update: Is He Back To ‘GH’?

Actor Ryan Paevey has been MIA from television, and now it seems he’s finally ready to make a comeback. Recent social media posts have everyone talking and speculating about what projects Paevey is working on. One huge update even suggests he’s doing multiple projects. Does this mean he’s coming back to General Hospital?

General Hospital Fans Hope For A Soap Comeback

After leaving the Hallmark Channel, Ryan Paevey took a leave of absence from acting in 2024. Now, it seems he’s had a long enough break and is set for a comeback. He shared a huge update with fans and teased taking up acting again.

In an Instagram post, Paevey said, “Got some irons in the fire on the big screen and the small screen that I’m hoping will enable me to share more stuff like this with you guys….a lot more. Get busy living right?”

Following that post, he shared a headshot with a wide-eyed emoji, adding more fuel to the fire that he’s coming back to television. Fans are excited and speculating about where he will be popping up. Many are hoping for a miracle comeback to General Hospital. 

The speculation is further fueled by the fact that Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) is also making a comeback to the popular soap opera.

It just so happens that Paevey played Britt’s brother, Detective Nathan West. Both characters were killed off on General Hospital, but everyone knows that nobody is ever really dead in the soap world.

What Is Everyone Saying & Is It True?

Fans did not hesitate to share their hope that Ryan Paevey is making a General Hospital comeback. One fan said, “A return from the dead on GH with your sister Britt???” Another fan said, “Hmmm GH? U just never know. Nobody really dies on soaps😀”

Adding more speculation is the fact that two GH actors liked the post. They are Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait Corinthos) and Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain).

Nothing has been confirmed as to what Paevey’s plans are just yet. If he were to make a comeback to the soap world, it would be hard to explain his death. After all, he flatlined in front of Maxie at the hospital. Even so, writers have a way of working their magic and have brought many characters back from the dead.

If he does not return from the grave, he could appear as a ghost, a memory, or a dream. There is also the possibility that some fans’ cloning theory will play a part in the future. Is this how Britt will make her comeback? If Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is involved, then this could mean she is working with Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) to clone both of her children to bring them back.
