Liz Johnston reveals Leighton Drew is sick

The 7 Little Johnstons family shares a lot of firsts when it comes to the first grandbaby and niece. They shared her first bath and also share when she hits an age milestone. Just last week Emma Johnston gushed over how much she loves Leighton on her two-month birthday.

Now, Liz went to Instagram Stories to share that precious Leighton is sick. She wished everyone good morning and then shared two adorable photos of her baby girl. Under the photos, Liz said, “Snotty and runny nose won’t take this smile away!!!”

Hopefully, it’s just a cold that Leighton has. Of course, parents of newborns have to be cautious of little ones contracting RSV this time of year. RSV is a respiratory illness that can be dangerous for infants.

However, Liz has not shared an actual diagnosis so all fans know she has a runny nose.

One thing is certain, Leighton looks happy and content even with her snotty nose.

Leighton Drew was born in early November just a little more than a month after Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden announced they were expecting.

Since her birth, the entire family has shared photos of their new family member. In just two short months, Leighton Drew has changed. It seems with every new photo fans can see subtle changes in her appearance.

Along with caring for Leighton, Liz revealed recently that she was suffering from postpartum depression. Since her initial post, she has not shared any further updates on how she’s feeling.

The family also had to get through some rumors. Some fans were speculating that Liz and Brice were having problems. Amber Johnston put that rumor to rest by sharing photos of them all together.

Amber and Trent have been helping Liz and Brice with baby Leighton. It’s unclear if she and Brice are living with her parents temporarily until they have both accustomed to parenthood.
