Erin Bates’ Husband By Her Side, Begs For Prayers, Can’t Lose His Best Friend

August 25, Erin Bates and Chad Paine welcomed baby number seven into the world. They were overwhelmed with joy and did not anticipate the complications that followed. After giving birth, Erin, who is only 34 years old, developed a UTI and a kidney infection. Things became further complicated when she went septic. She has been ICU since then, fighting for her life. Both Kelly Jo Bates and Chad have updated fans and are begging for prayers. Things seemed to be getting slightly better, only to take a major turn in the opposite direction. Chad is begging for prayers and can’t lose his best friend. What new developments are there?

Erin Bates Fights For Her Life With Chad By Her Side

What should be a joyous time, welcoming a new miracle into the world, has instead become a sad story. Erin Bates continues to fight for her life in the ICU. Kelly Jo reminded fans that this is not the time to criticize Chad and Erin’s decision to have more children. Instead, everyone should be lifting this beautiful woman up in prayer. Kelly Jo begged for prayers for their family as they endure this difficult time. Kelly Jo is also not one to have such serious posts without reason. The family is genuinely worried for Erin’s life.

On Thursday night, Chad went to Instagram to share another update. Sadly, it was not a good update, and it seems that Erin’s condition continues to deteriorate. He shared more photos of Erin lying in a hospital bed, looking very weak. He began his post by saying, “I have so many mixed emotions as I share this. Last night, Erin suffered a lengthy and severe seizure. Up to this point, Erins infection was getting better, but we found ourselves back in a place of heartache, uncertainty, and tears.”

Chad went on to say the doctors are doing more tests to try and learn more about what is happening to Erin. He also said she is extremely weak and spent hours only half-conscious.

Chad noted that everyone’s prayers are felt, and they are praying for healing. He also said, “As her husband, it is one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced — to sit by her side and watch her struggle while being so helpless to ease her suffering. I love her more deeply than words can express, and I can’t even imagine life without my best friend. The hours have been long and heavy, and I know many hearts are aching to see her this way, along with mine.”

Everyone Continues To Pray

Family members and fans continue to lift Erin Bates up in prayer as she fights to survive. So far as of this writing on Friday, there have been no new updates on her condition from Kelly Jo or Chad.

Everyone is hoping and praying that Erin will pull through and get to go home to her babies very soon.

Right now, her future remains uncertain.
