Bringing Up Bates: Kelly Jo Bates Addresses Gil’s Cancer Diagnosis Rumors

Kelly Jo Bates recently took to IG to discuss the rumors stating that Gil was diagnosed with cancer. She uploaded photos of a fake account showing Gil at the hospital. According to the post, Gil was diagnosed with cancer, and it has spread all over his body. However, Kelly Jo said that it’s all fake news and that Gil never had cancer to begin with.

The Bringing Up Bates star added that her husband is doing well and is currently managing his tree excavation business. Kelly Jo also warns her followers about fake accounts asking for donations for Gil’s fake cancer. She wrote, “This is a fake account & fake news! Gil is healthy & is still doing tree work & preaching. He is not in the hospital, so please be aware of any fake accounts asking for money, etc!” Many fans expressed their anger in the comments section.

Mama Jane’s Cancer Update

Mama Jane left many Bringing Up Bates fans worried last year due to her cancer battle. She was back and forth to the hospital for her radiation treatment. Things also got even more challenging when her now late husband, Papa Bill’s dementia worsened. But despite all the hardships, Mama Jane fought hard and completed her treatment.
