‘My 600-Lb Life’ S8 Lonnie Hambrick’s Incredible Weight Loss Progress

My 600-Lb Life star Lonnie Hambrick returns to social media to share new updates about his weight loss journey. He’s one of Dr. Now’s most inspirational patients of Season 8. Weighing in at 613 pounds, Lonnie struggled to perform any physical tasks. He mostly relied on people around him. Aside from Lonnie, his brother, John, also appeared in the show to lose weight. My 600-Lb Life: Lonnie Stays Active In The Gym

In an Instagram post, Lonnie shared a clip of himself at the gym. The My 600-Lb Life star shared that he was impressed by the other guy next to him picking up 60-pound weights like it was nothing, while he struggles to lift 25-pound weights. Regardless, Lonnie said that people shouldn’t judge themselves by others’ standards.

He wrote, “Self care is the best care. Gym time.” Lonnie revealed last June that he’s already at 180 pounds, and it’s clear that he has slimmed down even more today. He has also been advocating same-sex marriage, and even reacted to the recent discussions in the Supreme Court regarding marriage equality. He wrote, “Have lunch with me and let’s have a chat. Today’s the day the Supreme Court is deciding if they’re gonna hear the case that solidified marriage equality. I really hope they leave it alone but only time will tell.” He receives a lot of support from his followers due to his advocacy.

Lonnie Shows Off Incredible Weight Loss

Lonnie inspired many people with his weight loss journey during the show. He was able to qualify for bariatric surgery and ultimately dropped 245 pounds. The My 600-Lb Life star parted ways with Dr. Now at 368 lbs. Since then, nothing has slowed down Lonnie. He is fully committed to losing weight and is now looking forward to getting excess skin removal surgery.

Last month, Lonnie talked to his fans while shirtless, showing off his massive weight loss. He added that he already had two operations to remove his excess skin, though he’s looking forward to getting more. Lonnie is thriving as a hair stylist. He often leaves his followers excited with his colorful outfits and positive energy.
