‘Mama June’ Update On Anna Cardwell’s Children After Custody Drama

Mama June: Family Crisis fans have been concerned about Anna Cardwell’s two children since her death. Anna sadly passed away from cancer in December 2023. There has been a lot of drama surrounding the custody of her two girls. In June, Mama June Shannon revealed that the girls had not seen each other since their mother’s funeral. She was awarded custody of Kaitlyn but not Kylee. Michael Cardwell was awarded custody of his daughter, Kylee. Unfortunately, Mama June and Michael were unable to reach a compromise without the courts being involved. Now, several months later, there is an update on the two girls.

Mama June Fans Want To Know What’s Happening With Kaitlyn And Kylee

Mama June fans have been impatiently waiting for an update on Anna Cardwell’s children. The two little girls had not seen each other since attending their mother’s funeral. Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell continues to be missed by everyone. Mama June Shannon has shared that she still keeps Anna in their family group chat and will never remove her.

Kylee is living with her father, Michael Cardwell. He wanted custody of both children since he has been her acting father since he began dating Anna when Kaitlyn was only 8 months old. However, the courts awarded custody to Mama June. Fans were heartbroken for the two girls had been separated for so long.

There have not been details shared about how the two sisters were reunited, but everyone in the photos looks overjoyed to be in each other’s company. Updates On The Rest Of The Family

Mama June Shannon has continued to provide updates for fans about things happening in their lives. Just recently, Alana Thompson or better known as Honey Boo Boo, had a car accident in Denver. She’s still living there and attending school to become a nurse. Thankfully, the accident was minor, and other than being sore, she was okay. Mama June flew out to help her daughter.
