Kelly Jo Bates Proclaims Erin & Baby Henry ‘Miracles’

August 25 brought both joy and worry when Henry Blythe came into the world. Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates Paine had some complications following her long and intense labor. Henry went to the NICU while Erin found herself in ICU. She had a urinary tract and kidney infection, which led to septic shock. The Bates family rallied with fans to pray for Erin. Photos of her lying helpless in a hospital bed went viral on the internet, and many wondered if she would pull through. Her prognosis did not seem great after Erin’s husband Chad Paine shared that she had suffered a long and severe seizure. Then, on Saturday, the family revealed that Erin was finally on the road to recovery. Kelly Jo Bates is relieved and thankful that her daughter has been reunited with her newborn son, Henry.

Prayers were answered for the Bates family. On Saturday, Chad Paine shared the happy news that Erin was doing better after having them all scared that they would lose her. Chad expressed as much in a previous post when he said he can’t lose his best friend. He and the rest of the family were begging fans for prayers.

Many around the world prayed for Erin to be healed. When Chad revealed she was doing better and on the road to recovery, family, friends, and fans rejoiced. Chad shared a video of Erin in bed, snuggling sweet Henry and giving him little kisses. Chad said, “With tears in our eyes, we are praising the Lord that we are on the road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Your prayers have definitely touched heaven. 🙏🏻”

Erin’s mother Kelly Jo was one of the first to comment on the new update. She proclaimed that Erin and Henry are both ‘miracles.’
She said, “Two miracles laying in that bed! So thankful to God!”

The rest of the family, along with several members of the Duggar family rejoiced that Erin was showing improvement. After Saturday’s update, there has not been any new information shared. It’s unknown how long Erin will remain in intensive care.

Her Love Shows

It’s easy for anyone to see how much Erin Bates Paine loves her children. In every video or photo shared of her with newborn Henry, she’s telling him how much she loves him or giving little kisses on his nose. Henry appeared to be just as happy as Erin to be reunited with his mama. He even gave a little smile.

Erin has been through a lot medically that threatened her chances of having lots of children. After her fourth child was born, she endured surgery that left her with only 1/3 of an ovary. Her chances of becoming pregnant were slim. They beat the odds, and she and Chad now welcomed their seventh child.
