‘General Hospital’ Sonny & Sidwell Long-Lost Brothers? Details

General Hospital fans have known that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is up to something. He has denied for months that his target is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). However, now, more is coming out, and it seems that he does want to get Sonny out of the picture and take over his assets. Now, it’s been revealed that Sidwell paid off the judge to ensure Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was awarded full custody of the children. Why would he do any of this? Spoilers indicate that perhaps they have a deeper family connection that is driving Sidwell’s evil schemes.

General Hospital Spoilers Indicate Family Connection Between Sonny & Sidwell

General Hospital fans know that there is something hidden about Jenz Sidwell that hasn’t been revealed yet. Since he moved into the Cassadine mansion, many believed perhaps he had blood ties to their family. He most definitely still could. However, there is a new theory floating around, and it would make perfect sense.

Spoilers indicate that maybe there is a deeper reason Sidwell is targeting Sonny and his assets. What if it comes out that Sonny and Sidwell are long-lost brothers? Considering soaps like to go to the absolute extreme, it would make sense.

Plus, everyone knows that Sonny’s dad seemed to get around. So, it’s entirely possible that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) had another affair, which led to a son he never claimed. It’s also possible Mike never knew another son existed. However, once Sidwell found out about his long-lost dad, he set his sights on what should have been partly his all along.

Since Mike is dead, he might as well go after his dear half-brother, Sonny Corinthos.

There Is More To The Story

Jenz Sidwell is scheming, and it still hasn’t been revealed exactly what his intentions are other than to take down Sonny. He said he won’t hurt the children. Could a family connection be that driving force?

However, it’s still entirely possible that Sidwell is using the children to get what he wants from Sonny. It was just revealed that Jenz paid off the judge to make sure Michael was awarded custody. Obviously, there’s a hidden motive behind that. Perhaps he also paid the judge to say that Sonny bribed her for the results they wanted.

The other piece to the puzzle that would give Sidwell the upper hand is sweet baby Daisy. She has a stalker, and it’s yet to be revealed who that is. However, since Sidwell seems to have his hand in Michael’s life in order to get to Sonny, there’s a good chance he has hired someone to kidnap Daisy. Michael just commented how happy he was to have all three children under one roof, safe and happy. Chances are he jinxed it, and that is about to change drastically.

He will use the baby as ransom to get Sonny to sell him his assets. Sonny will do anything for his children, so there’s little doubt Sidwell will get his way. Once he has what he wants, could he reveal that they are half brothers?
