‘General Hospital’ Sidwell’s Shocking Motives Are Not What You Think

General Hospital fans are still trying to figure out why Jenz Sidwell would have Alexis Davis hold the dagger that killed her mother. It’s been said that he is setting her up to take the fall for a murder. He’s also been accused of being after Sonny Corinthos which he continues to deny. However, there could be an entirely other motive and it’s not what you think. What exactly is Sidwell up to?

General Hospital Jenz Sidwell Has Motive Nobody Saw Coming

There have been rumors that Jenz Sidwell knows way too much about Wyndemere. He even knows where the secret passages are. Plus, he seemed to know exactly how to get under Alexis Davis’ skin.

Chances are that Sidwell is playing dumb but truly knows more than everyone is giving him credit for. He keeps saying that he isn’t there to cause trouble for Sonny Corinthos. Perhaps that is true. Even Jason didn’t think it was Sidwell who placed the bomb at Sonny’s. Maybe his motive is something even deeper.

It’s already been brought up that it looks as though Sidwell could really be a Cassadine. The question is how and what is he up to?

Everyone saw Alexis pick up the dagger that was supposed to be at the bottom of the harbor. Alexis even told Sidwell she threw it in the water and knows this is not a replica. Who would have retrieved it? That part remains a mystery but there is obviously a plan behind Sidwell showing it to Alexis. Even more, she picked it up which was also no doubt a part of his evil plan.

Sidwell even played on Alexis being sober. He offered a drink most likely really knowing she used to be an addict. Trying to push her back into the bottle? Maybe but still there’s something deeper with Sidwell.

He wasn’t setting Alexis up for a murder but rather for a way to get her DNA.

Why Would He Want Her DNA?

Jenz Sidwell may want Alexis Davis’ DNA to help further his cause. Perhaps he too shares the Cassadine bloodline. How?

It’s already known to General Hospital fans that Alexis’ mother Kristen had an affair with Mikkos Cassadine. In fact, Helena finding out is what led to Kristen’s tragic murder.

What if Sidwell is also an illegitimate child of Mikkos. Doesn’t the saying go, “once a cheater, always a cheater?” Perhaps Mikkos had more than one mistress and one of them happened to get pregnant. Maybe Jenz only in recent years learned who his biological father is and is determined to get part of the Cassadine fortune he feels he’s entitled to.

Getting DNA from Alexis can prove he has Cassadine blood running through his veins. The question remains how far he is willing to go to get exactly what he wants and who he will take down in the process.

Even if that turns out to not be the case, Sidwell wants Alexis DNA. He’s definitely up to something and no doubt it will shatter lives around him.
