‘General Hospital’ Ryan Paevey Is NOT Nathan, Who Is He?
General Hospital fans are convinced that Ryan Paevey’s character is not the real Nathan West. Everyone has questioned whether he could really be alive after being shot by Cesar Faison seven years ago. However, when he woke up in the hospital, he claimed to be Nathan and also shared that he remembers nothing after being shot. Speculation grew even more on Monday when Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan shared a look. If it turns out he’s not really Nathan, then who is he?
General Hospital Fans Think A Huge Twist Is Coming
Many have been questioning Ryan Paevey’s return to Port Charles as Nathan West. How is it possible, after his tragic death and heartbreaking funeral, that he’s alive? Yes, it’s a soap opera, and people are always magically resurrected from the dead. But Nathan’s return from the grave seems to be heading a different route.
After seeing Paevey claim to be Nathan with no recollection of the past seven years, fans are growing even more suspicious after looks were exchanged between him and his sister, Britt. She appears to know more than she’s saying, and he seems to be hiding a ton of secrets. How he ended up in Port Charles remains a mystery, but it’s possible that he staged his own accident so he could wreak havoc on the city he once loved.

It’s most likely no coincidence that his arrival is right on the heels of Britt’s shocking return from the dead. It’s also highly likely that he might be the mystery boss who was controlling Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Britt, along with partnering up with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Paevey himself has stated that he would not return for a vanilla storyline, so whoever he is and whatever he’s up to must be juicy. A huge twist is about to rock Port Charles.

Who Is He Really?
There are a lot of questions about how this couldn’t be Nathan since the fingerprints and DNA match. However, Cesar Faison is the master villain, and there is no telling what he’s capable of pulling off. It’s not real life, so really, writers can do whatever they want.
Fans have two main theories about Nathan. Most believe that he is either Nathan, programmed to be evil like his father. If he’s not Nathan, he’s either Peter August or somehow Faison himself. It’s possible that Faison never really died. He has been labeled as the master of faking deaths.
Faison’s brain is supposedly in a jar. Some think the brain may turn up missing and find out it was somehow implanted into Nathan.
It’s still a huge mystery what will go down and what secrets will be revealed, but there are definitely big twists and turns coming.

First let me say I will NEVER forgive GH, if this isnt Good Nathan OR if this is an imposter, that Nathan isnt alive and gonna show up if it is a fake. Come on GH after so many years of deaths and good guys turning bad, can’t we PLEASE have a happy story? One with a good guy coming home to his family and it NOT being a cruel writers trick? Sure theres mystery to where Nathan has been and what he’s been doing for 7 years, which I’m totally down for, but PLEASE do not make him evil and can he REALLY be Nathan, please???. For one thing I can’t handle another story where Maxie falls for the guy who isnt good, like Peter. Second the cruelist thing Cesar could do to His ex is hide their son from her like she did from him and, bonus, mess with Britts head that her mother will always love Nathan more than her, at least in Britts eyes.
I know many are commenting, really another back from the dead storyline, why? Well on the flip side, theres been sooo many deaths on GH over the last 10 years, it would be really nice to see a good guy come back and STAY good. Yes, there was Jason x2 but thats Jason. I am currently excited for GH for the first time, in a very long time, and it will break me to dangle this in our faces and then rip it away and end with sadness. There are a LOT of places this story line could go without Nathan being dead or evil. Tortured, sure bring on the drama, but evil or an imposter with no living Nathan, NO thank you. I really hope, no matter the story, we can have a happy story with a good NOT evil version of the character we all originally fell in love with.
AND for extra kicks how about some humor being brought back in? I want a hero NOT a patsy.
