General Hospital Katelyn MacMullen Speaks Out

General Hospital actress Katelyn MacMullen speaks out about Willow’s plans for Drew. Fans are wondering why she is still aligning herself with Drew since it seems none of his plans have worked out, and in the end, it’s landed her behind bars. MacMullen spoke with Soap Opera Digest, where she says that Willow has landed herself in a really bad spot.

She doesn’t have much going for her at the moment, and it seems evidence continues to pile up against her. Willow feels betrayed by her own mother, and MacMullen said, “I think in the moment, Willow is just like, ‘Wait, why would Nina create this alibi on the spot just to take it back?’ Because Willow looks super-guilty now, she’s even thinking, ‘Did Nina set me up to go to prison so that I’d be kept away from Drew? Does she hate us together that much?’ She’s just beside herself. I mean, she’s been sent to prison! And whether or not you did [the crime you’ve been accused of], that’s absolutely terrifying.”

How Willow Sees Drew

Drew continues to help her and even got Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to defend her. At this point in time, MacMullen says Willow is terrified and paranoid. She goes on to say, “She’s so defenseless at this point and she needs help. She needs all the help she can get!So she’s definitely aligning herself with Drew.”

However, according to Katelyn, Willow is just using Drew as a means to an end. She said, “I think it’s a ‘keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer’ kind of thing for her.” In her eyes, she is using Drew in hopes that he can use his power to get her exonerated. MacMullen said, “That’s the better option for her than making an enemy of him, because she believes that Drew kind of always gets what she wants at the end of the day. If she keeps him close, she can have access to his help when she needs it, and she can also kind of monitor him. That’s better than burning the bridge.”

What Willow Wants

MacMullen notes that more than anything, Willow wants to make sure her kids are okay after seeing her get arrested. She also wants to prove to them that their mother is not capable of attempted murder. She wants a life with Wiley and Amelia and hopes she can be with them on the other side of this.

Willow does not have many people on her side, and things are not looking good for the General Hospital nurse.

Will Willow prove her innocence and, in the end, send Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to prison for shooting Drew?
