Erin Bates Family Speaks About Her Health Crisis And Recovery

Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates has been battling sepsis after developing a severe UTI and kidney infection. The infection came after she gave birth to her seventh child, Henry Blythe, on August 25. Henry has remained in the NICU while Erin has been fighting the complications that occurred following his birth. Things seemed very grim, and her family asked fans to pray for her healing. On Saturday, Erin’s husband Chad Paine shared a new, very encouraging update. Now, her family is speaking out.

Erin Bates’ Family Speaks After New Update

The Bringing Up Bates family has all come together to support their sibling during her health crisis. She spent several days in ICU fighting sepsis. Her prognosis seemed grim in Chad’s update when he revealed she’d had a long and severe seizure.

When news first broke that Erin was being taken to intensive care, her siblings spoke out. They all shared that they were praying hard for Erin and her family. Lawson Bates said, “continuing to pray every day for a miraculous healing”

Many others shared their prayers as well. Then, on Saturday, Chad shared another update with fans, but this time it was encouraging and emotional.

He shared a video of Erin in her hospital bed snuggling with sweet little Henry. The two looked very happy to be reunited with Henry, even giving his mom a smile. Chad wrote, “With tears in our eyes, we are praising the Lord that we are on the road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Your prayers have definitely touched heaven. 🙏🏻”

Her family spoke out, with Kelly Jo Bates commenting from their official family Instagram, saying, “Two miracles laying in that bed! So thankful to God!”

Kelly Jo also shared the update on their family blog. Other family members commented as well. Josie Balka said, “bawling !!! The sweetest video ❤️ praising the Lord for answered prayers!!! We’re Continuing to lift you up in prayer as you recover. Love you guys so much!”

Several members of the Duggar family commented as well. Chad shared reposts of a few other family members thanking fans for their prayers.

Fans Express Their Thoughts

Family isn’t the only ones who spoke after hearing that Erin Bates is on the road to recovery. Fans also sent their well-wishes and continued prayers to Erin and Chad.

One fan said, “Shouting AMEN!!!!” Another said, “😭The Best Post I’ve ever seen! Erin you are so loved by your family, friends and many many fans that feel like they know you! I being one of them! Jesus loves you more than Anyone, and He IS doing a miracle in your life!!”

So far, there have not been any further updates after yesterday’s video featuring Erin and Henry.
