Counting On alum Jinger Duggar returns with a new podcast episode with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. The two like to talk about their lives as parents to three kids. They have also been advocating a faithful lifestyle. But despite all the positivity, Jinger opened up about how their daughter dealt with school bullies. Keep reading to see what happened.

Counting On: Jinger Duggar Opens Up About Daughter’s School Struggles

Jinger recently uploaded a clip from her latest podcast with Jeremy, where they talked about Felicity’s school struggles. According to Jeremy, Felicity once came home from school devastated. It was due to the negative things some of her classmates did to her. The married couple never revealed what happened. But it’s most likely related to Jinger’s family and their negative reputation since Josh’s imprisonment. The married couple wrote, “Help your child respond to bullies the right way. Ground them in how God sees them, not their friends or means kids at school.”

Regardless, Jinger and Jeremy quickly solved the problem by teaching Felicity how to deal with school bullies. Jeremy revealed that they let Felicity think outside of her perception. One of the things they told her was that God is not laughing at her, and it’s more than enough for her to stay strong and positive in life. Jinger and Jeremy were amazed by how Felicity applied it to herself. Jinger added that it’s a useful step to prevent parents from having to talk to teachers to help with their kids’ struggles.

Fans Praise Jinger’s Advocacy

Jinger also left many fans impressed in another one of her discussions with Jeremy. It was about their advocacy of not trying to live for other people’s approval, which is related to Jinger’s latest book, “People Pleaser: Breaking Free from the Burden of Imaginary Expectations.” According to Jeremy, they have dealt with it so many times. But they eventually learned to adjust and focus more on living their lives the way they wanted. Jinger added that consistently trying to impress others could often lead to depression. Many fans commend Jinger and Jeremy for what they’re fighting for.

  • “You both are so wonderful and as a new Christian, you really help me understand God’s word.”
  • “I think that’s such a beautiful thing to tell her and so age appropriate!”
  • ““Gods not laughing at you.” Im going to remember that one. ❤️”

Jinger has also dealt with insecurity to the point that she would not eat regularly to stay physically fit. She’s thankful that she didn’t have to go through bullying. But she admitted that it’s as difficult as being a “people pleaser,” which she fought for many years, especially during her teenage days.
