‘Counting On’ Jinger Duggar’s Daughter Lands In ER

Counting On star Jinger Duggar Vuolo revealed to fans that her daughter landed in the emergency room. It was a scary situation for the little girl and her parents as well. While a wedding was being hosted at their home, Felicity wanted to go to bed early. Jinger describes her and Jeremy Vuolo’s daughter as their little social butterfly. So when Felicity said she was in excruciating pain, they knew right away it was something serious. What happened that forced the parents to take their daughter to the emergency room?

Counting On Jinger Duggar Reveals Excruciating Pain For Daughter

Counting On star Jinger Duggar and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, opened up about a scary incident they had with their daughter over the past week. They shared the story on their podcast, The Jinger and Jeremy Podcast. She revealed that she was hosting a wedding at their home. They were all having a great time when Felicity told her mom at 8:30 that she wanted to go to bed. Jinger knew something was off because her daughter never wanted to go to bed when there was company around.

When Jinger questioned her daughter why she said her ear was hurting very badly and she needed to lie down. Jinger said, “At the end of the wedding, Felicity had been on the dance floor, and she was dancing so hard. She comes inside and is in excruciating pain. And mind you, this is our social butterfly.”

When Felicity tried to lie down, it was hurting too badly, so Jinger decided to give her chewable ibuprofen. Normally, she would not do this, according to Jeremy. He shared that Jinger is very anti-medicine. So, he knew things were serious when Jinger immediately resorted to medication. The medicine did not help her.

They Took Her To The Emergency Room

The guests at the wedding told Jinger Duggar she needed to take Felicity to the emergency room. Jinger said Felicity was in so much pain. She said, “The pain did not go away for an hour. And so she was sitting up, and then she’d like lay down in pain.  She’d say, ‘I just need this to go away. This is the worst pain I’ve ever had.'”

When Jeremy got home, the two of them took Felicity to the emergency room. While waiting to check in, her eardrum burst and she felt better. However, they still stuck around to get her ear checked out. The doctor wanted to give her antibiotics, which Jinger was again against. In the end, she opted to wait a few days and see if she improved on her own.

So far, Felicity is doing well and appears to be recovering from her severe ear infection. After her eardrum burst, she did not feel any more pain.
