Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates and husband Evan Stewart are proud parents of three now. Carlin shared on Tuesday that she was in labor. Since revealing she was in active labor, there were no updates until Wednesday morning. The couple posted a musical video asking fans to guess if it was a boy or a girl. In the post, Carlin did thank the best birthing team she could have had. Now, Carlin and Evan made the big reveal. They opted to wait to find out the baby’s gender until it was born. What did they have?

Carlin Bates Gives Birth To Baby Number Three

Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates and her husband Evan Stewart welcomed baby number three into the world on Tuesday. She shared with fans that she was at the hospital and that it was baby time. Then another post was shared with her in active labor. Evan was by her side, offering her tons of support.

She shared multiple photos of her sitting on a birthing ball, Evan squeezing her hand, and of course her baby bump. She captioned the post, “After 9 months of waiting, dreaming, and aching to meet you…this day finally came. 👼 @evanpstewart16 Thank you for being my quiet strength to lean on 🫶😭”

On Wednesday morning, the couple teased fans a little with a cute musical. In the video, they are talking about whether the baby is a boy or a girl. The caption read, “We’ve got a little tiebreaker on the way… 👶💥 Any guesses? Boy or girl? Vote below! 👇 🎉”

Finally, the big news was revealed. Carlin and Evan posted photos from the delivery room. Along with the photos, the caption read, “The world just got a little softer 🥹 Our baby is here. ✨#baby #birth #sweet #love #labor #delivery #mom” They have not revealed the baby’s gender or name yet.

This is the 36th grandchild for Kelly Jo and Gil Bates.

Erin’s Struggles

While Carlin Bates had a normal delivery, her sister Erin Bates is still suffering from complications after her August 25 birth. After giving birth to Henry, Erin developed a severe UTI and kidney infection, which led to septic shock. She was in ICU for days before being transferred to another hospital for more focused care.

Chad Paine has been sharing updates on Erin, and the latest revealed that she was getting better. He assured her she was improving and said test results looked good. Erin has not been able to spend much time with her newborn son since delivering him. She was fighting for her life and even endured a long and severe seizure.
