Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates welcomed baby number three this week. On September 9, Carlin and Evan shared the exciting news that she was in labor. They let everyone know it was baby time. They revealed photos of Carlin in labor with Evan by her side, offering support.

On Wednesday, they teased fans with a musical about whether it was a boy or a girl. Now, the news is finally out. In the video shared on Instagram, Carlin is in her final moments of labor as the baby is being born. She tells the doctor that Evan is going to announce the baby’s gender.

He grinned and told his wife it’s a girl. Carlin gushed over her new little one as they told her to reach down and grab her baby. She told her newborn daughter how much she loves her, but also said she really thought it was going to be a boy. Her husband noted that it seemed like she pushed the baby out like it was nothing. Carlin said it hurt really badly. He then gushed that she was able to have the baby naturally and called her a superwoman.
