Bringing Up Bates star Josie Bates leaves her followers worried after her latest social media post. She’s been documenting her pregnancy with her fourth child. Josie would often gush over her husband, Kelton Balka, for spoiling her throughout her pregnancy. However, the two are now facing difficulties after Josie receives news about her high-risk 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Keep reading to see her post.

Bringing Up Bates: Josie Bates Asks For Prayers

In a Facebook post, Josie shared a clip of herself on her way to her pregnancy checkup. The Bringing Up Bates star was initially excited. She even gave a quick glimpse of her baby’s 3D ultrasound. But things suddenly got emotional when Josie revealed that the checkup didn’t turn out the way she would’ve liked. She said some antibodies are attacking the baby’s blood, and they have to make sure that the baby won’t end up anemic, lacking iron.

A transfusion may be needed if things worsen. Josie added that she may need to give birth earlier than expected. She wrote, “Not the news we were expecting, and honestly still processing. Praying for Gods protection over our sweet baby and that numbers normalize for tomorrows scan.” Many fans took to Josie’s comments section to pray for her and the child.

Josie Continues To Stay Positive

Josie has yet to share a follow-up update regarding her high-risk pregnancy. However, the Bringing Up Bates star has been positive over the past few days. Recently, she uploaded a hair day vlog. She wants to stay gorgeous and fresh before welcoming her fourth child. She captioned, “Fresh hair before birth always makes me feel so good.” Josie did the same thing with her previous pregnancies, leaving many fans stunned.

Most of the Bates girls have suffered from blood-related issues. One of them is Erin, who suffered from multiple miscarriages due to her blood-clotting disorders. Josie herself also suffered from a miscarriage in 2020, which was caused by a rare blood condition. Speculations suggest that it’s also linked to her COVID-19 diagnosis.
