‘Bringing Up Bates’ Erin Bates Shares Huge Health Update On Non-Functioning Leg

Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates Paine went to social media to share a huge update with her fans. She has been sharing her health struggles with everyone online, and she’s experienced plenty since giving birth to Henry. While Erin was hospitalized and being treated for septic shock, she suffered a really bad seizure. According to Kelly Jo Bates, Erin has puzzled doctors who tried to figure out the root cause of all her complications. Finally, after three weeks, she and Henry were released from the hospital but were still searching for answers. She and her family revealed that her leg was not functioning at all. Now, she has a big update on it all.

Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates has had a rough month, to say the least. She endured a much more difficult labor with her seventh child, Henry, than she had with her previous pregnancies. After giving birth, she was treated for a severe UTI and kidney infection, which turned into septic shock.

While in intensive care, she endured a very rough and lengthy seizure. At one point, she was even transferred to a new hospital for treatment. Once Erin was well enough to go home, she and her husband, Chad Paine, revealed that she had no use of her leg. She began doing physical therapy in hopes of getting better.

Now, weeks later, Erin has a big update for fans, which she shared on Instagram. She shared gorgeous family photos with all nine of them and said, “I don’t even have the words. 🥲 For weeks, my leg has not worked (since my seizure in the hospital). I’ve been carried, wheeled, and held up through tears and prayers… and today — it moved. Today I took steps. They might be a little wobbly, but they are steps I wasn’t sure I’d ever take again. 🥹 I’ve cried until I laughed, and laughed until I cried. My heart is overflowing with gratitude. Jesus, You are faithful. You are the Healer. All glory belongs to You.🙌”

Finally, Erin is on her final road to recovery.

She Thanks All Her Fans

In her post, Erin Bates went on to thank all of her fans who have prayed for her. Erin also thanked the doctors and nurses who worked endlessly to try and help her recover.

She ended her thanks by saying, “Today we are standing (literally!) in awe, giving thanks for every single step forward. 💛🙌”

Fans immediately began praising God and expressing thanks that Erin can walk again.
