My 600-Lb Life: Shannon Lowery Wishes For Death Amid Health Crisis

Shannon took to FB earlier this month to open up about her health battles. According to the My 600-Lb Life star, she’s in so much pain that she wishes death would come sooner. She revealed that her arms hurt, and she went to a doctor to get them checked. She was told to go to the urgent care, but she had an unpleasant experience during her time there. Shannon said that she couldn’t fit in the chair, but it seems nobody helped her based on her post.

She wrote, “When you politely tell the person your chair does not fit in the urgent care plus its raining and you can’t take it In the rain. Your still told to go to the urgent care it sucks ass I just want the pain to end so bad.” Many fans left positive comments on Shannon’s post, wishing her a fast recovery. Shannon replied to some of her followers, thanking them for the strong messages.

  • “Be strong greetings from Germany🍀”
  • “I love you so much im so sorry you’re having to go through this ❤️‍🩹”
  • “Sorry to hear this Shannon. Where are you hurting?”
  • “Call an ambulance. Tell them you were told to go to the ER and have no way to get there.”

  • “I’m from the uk and trying to get a doctors appointment is like gold dust. So bad.”

Shannon Struggling Financially?

Aside from losing weight, it also appears that Shannon is struggling financially. Recently, the My 600-Lb Life star uploaded a photo featuring schedules of free food services, which run from November 2025 to May 2026. It’s been quite some time since Shannon last uploaded a photo of herself. But her photo from July 2025 indicates that she’s still in a wheelchair and hasn’t lost much weight. Shannon ended her episode with Dr. Now at 650 pounds. She was only able to shed 50 pounds, far from her goal of 150 pounds. As a result, she couldn’t qualify for bariatric surgery, and it seems that her progress is only getting worse.
