My 600-Lb Life star Dr. Now slams internet trolls in his latest social media post. The 81-year-old surgeon has sparked rumors about his retirement over the past few years. Many fans thought that he was going to hang up his scalpel. But he surprised everyone with news of brand-new shows and special episodes about his patients. However, lines were crossed once again when some people speculated that Dr. Now had passed away, and he’s not pleased about it. Keep reading to see his response.

My 600-Lb Life: Dr. Now Slams Death Rumors

In a Facebook post, Dr. Now addresses the rumors regarding his alleged death. According to the My 600-Lb Life star, he’s alive and well, adding that people shouldn’t believe everything they read online. He revealed that some internet trolls are using AI (artificial intelligence) to produce fake messages and images claiming his death. Dr. Now went on to share that he has several upcoming projects, proving that he’s not retiring anytime soon. Many fans were also relieved to see Dr. Now looking healthy.

Will There Be A New Dr. Now Show?

TLC has yet to announce a renewal for Dr. Now’s series, My 600-Lb Life. However, the bariatric surgeon has been thriving, even outside the network. One of his last TV projects was with Lifetime called 6000-Lb Diaries with Dr. Now. It features the same concept as the TLC series, but it dives deeper into the lives of ten patients, most of whom are in their early adult years. Lifetime has yet to announce a new season for the series.

At this point, Dr. Now has been busy selling merch, which includes shirts, books, mugs, and even a bobblehead figure. Furthermore, Dr. Now likes hosting meet-and-greet events. He appreciates all the support he’s getting, and many of his social media posts indicate that he’s far from retiring.
