‘General Hospital’ Spoiler Preview: Aftermath Of Gio’s Heartbreak Continues

General Hospital fans had quite the shock on Thursday afternoon. Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) finally found out his birth mother is not who he thought at all. The Nurses Ball exploded after Gio overheard Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) talking to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). Lulu shouted out to her that Gio is Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) long-lost love child. A very shook-up Gio went off to perform, and things spiraled out of control. Now, the aftermath will be just as intense.

General Hospital Preview Indicates Things Will Spiral From Gio’s Heartbreak

General Hospital previews for Friday indicate that the drama will continue as everyone comes to terms with Gio’s news. While he was performing, he was having a hard time getting through his performance. He stopped in the middle of playing his violin and said he was going to do something he’s never done before.

Gio said he was going to dedicate his song to his parents. He then identified them and said it is Brook Lynn and Dante, who never wanted him and gave him up for adoption. He also said they lied to him for his entire life. Gio proceeded to smash his violin before running out.

Everyone in the crowd sat stunned, especially Brook Lynn and Dante. Lois is completely mortified. Fans can expect this drama will not die down anytime soon. Everyone will be furious while also trying to grasp what was just revealed. Of course, viewers know that Brook Lynn had no idea, and Dante didn’t even know there was ever a baby.

No doubt, all eyes will turn to Lois and Lulu. Lois will be in hot water and possibly could have ruined her relationship with everyone, including Gio. Lulu may think she is the hero, but now she will have to face Brook Lynn’s wrath. Will Brook Lynn slap her in front of everyone at the Ball? Everyone would be glad to see that happen. Or, will she be grateful she finally knows who her son is?

Gio Is Heartbroken

Now, someone will have to go find Gio. In the previews, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is seen telling someone that Lois should know something. He either wants to know if she’s known about Gio being Brook Lynn’s child and now Sonny’s grandchild. Or, Gio ran off, and nobody knows where he is.

Brook Lynn will have some explaining to do to Dante, who will no doubt be very upset for many reasons. Could this bring Brook Lynn and Dante together, ruining their relationships with Lulu and Chase?

Some spoilers indicate that Gio may be so crushed that he decides to go live with Sonny for now. It’s going to take some time for all of this to soak in and for everyone to come to terms with it. One thing is certain: when Lulu shouted out who Gio’s biological parents are, it changed everyone’s life. Now, everyone will have to face the consequences of the fallout.

Will Brook Lynn and even Tracy Quartermaine forgive Lois for this secret she’s kept all these years, or will she be banished from the family for her betrayal?
