‘General Hospital’ Sonny Corinthos Has Shocking New Alliance

General Hospital fans might be seeing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) partner up with someone who will have everyone picking their jaws up off the floor. It seems things are not going in Sonny’s favor at the moment. ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) is determined to take Corinthos down once and for all. She’s digging for any piece of evidence she can get her hands on to lock him up for good. Paul was seen lurking outside Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) hotel room before she died. This does not paint a pretty picture for Sonny. He needs someone to step up and help him, and it has to be someone with power.

General Hospital Sees Shocking Alliance Formed

General Hospital fans thought Sonny Corinthos was leaning toward getting out of the mob world, but Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is making him rethink things. He’s not about to let Sidwell hurt his family.

Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibs0n) was burned badly and is still taking pain pills after an explosion nearly killed him. Sonny was the target of that hit, or was he? Now, Charlie’s Pub went up in flames with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) inside, and the mob king wants revenge. At this point, he even said that if Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) happens to be “collateral damage,” so be it.

Now that Sonny has been taken in for questioning, spoilers indicate that he might be so far backed into a corner that he turns for help from the one person nobody would ever suspect. It’s possible that Sonny might turn to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for help.

Why would Brennan help Sonny at all? Jack has already proven that he isn’t exactly lawful in all things WSB. So, given his relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), he will go to extreme lengths to keep her and her children safe, even if that means helping Corinthos.

How Can He Help?

Jack Brennan has a lot of pull in Port Charles. He doesn’t know that one of Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) plans is to eventually take down Sonny. What he does know is that it’s Carly’s daughter, and she has to remain safe as well.

Brennan can easily help clear Sonny’s name. He planted evidence in Cyrus’ death and also got rid of the body, which still hasn’t been found. Why not do the same with Sidwell?

Perhaps he will incriminate Sidwell in Natalia’s death, which would get Sonny out of the spotlight and even behind bars. ADA Turner needs someone else to target and destroy.

Brennan could even agree to let Sonny and his men take out Sidwell and promise to plant evidence proving Corinthos’ innocence. After all, Brennan remains obligated to keep Port Charles safe, and Sidwell is proving to be a definite threat.

Jack Brennan and Sonny Corinthos joining forces could be just what General Hospital needs.

This could be an incredible alliance that nobody would ever suspect or see coming. Right now, it’s uncertain if writers will choose for these two to join forces, but it would make for some epic drama and chaos.
