‘General Hospital’ Sidwell Targets Maxie, Her Exit Explained

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) could have accidentally put a target on Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Fans know that Kirsten is taking a lengthy break from filming. She’s actually shared with followers that she is already done filming for the rest of 2025. She’s also given hints that Maxie will have a big storyline coming up. Could this slip-up from Lucy be what kicks her story into high gear?

General Hospital Maxie Jones Exciting Storyline

Kirsten Storms revealed she’s already finished filming for the rest of the year. Now that Lucy told Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) that Maxie is the only one who voted to hand over evidence to the police on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), she could have a target on her back.

In the end, Maxie was outvoted, and they all decided to keep the illegal happenings at Deception under wraps. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) hope that Maxie will keep her mouth shut and go with the flow. But, there’s no guarantee that will happen.

Sidwell wants nothing more than to take Sonny down, but he’s got to play it cool for now. He looked very unhappy when Lucy spilled the tea, and his concern was obvious, especially since Maxie’s stepdad is the chief of detectives at the PCPD. Lucy has put way too much trust in Sidwell.

Spoilers say that Maxie is in danger. Kirsten Storms told fans, “I promise you the storyline they have going on until my return to Port Charles is kind of incredible. You guys are going to freak out, actually. I can’t wait to see the comments online about that!”

Could Sidwell take matters into his own hands and get her out of the picture? Sidwell needs to ensure that Maxie keeps her mouth shut, so will he plan an abduction?

Maxie Is In Danger

General Hospital fans might see Sidwell have someone kidnap Maxie. Since she travels a lot for business, it’s possible nobody even notices her absence for a bit.

If he does abduct her, he could keep her in captivity in the Cassadine mansion. Or, he may have another location lined up. Perhaps somewhere in Croatia? The last thing he wants is for Maxie to know he’s the one behind her being taken.

This could explain Maxie’s exit from Port Charles. And, who knows, maybe there are others in captivity as well. Fans have speculated that Sidwell has Nikolas Cassadine hidden somewhere. Will he come face-to-face with Maxie soon? There’s a lot of drama and chaos to come.

Storms said she will most likely be returning in January.
