‘General Hospital’ Michael’s Back With Vengeance, Ready To Take Over Mob Business?

General Hospital fans raved about last week of the show. Everyone was excited to see Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) return. Viewers were even more excited to see that it didn’t seem like Michael really cared about Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) staring shocked at his entrance. He grabbed his son, and they left to stay at Carly’s. Michael has been through a lot, including his uncle’s illicit affair with his wife. It looks like upon his return to Port Charles, Michael isn’t going to take any more from his enemies. He’s back with a vengeance. Will he be taking over Sonny’s role as mob boss?

General Hospital Fans To See Darker Side Of Michael

Willow Corinthos was hoping that she and Drew Cain could fight Michael’s case to get custody of Wiley and Amelia. No doubt, Drew was planning on coercing Willow into trying to show Michael as being an absent father since he was doing burn treatment in Germany.

When Michael stunned the residents of Port Charles with his entrance to the Nurses Ball, he also ruined Willow’s chances of using the absentee father claim to get custody of the kids. Some are speculating and think that Michael got in touch with Diane and got an emergency temporary custody order, which allowed him to grab Wiley and get Amelia to stay with him at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) home.

Michael is tired of being the nice guy and wants to take back what is his. He’s not going to let Drew and Willow get away with their devious plans to take his children away.

However, there is more to Michael’s vengeance besides just Willow and Drew. In fact, Rory said, “He has a thirst for vengeance and justice because it’s no secret what Drew put him through.” He went on to say that Michael wants a calm, peaceful life, but that probably won’t happen.

Looking Toward The Future

Most likely, viewers are about to see a darker side of Michael. This new Michael will most likely be the one to take over the business from his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). With his dark side emerging, he will be a dangerous force to be reckoned with.

Sonny wanted to get out of the business by selling to Jenz Sidwell, but no way Michael will let that happen. His dad will not want him involved, but in the end, allow him to get the reins when he’s ready to step down and take care of his health.

At this point, he’s been through so much that Michael isn’t going to let anyone walk on him again. First order of business, take down Willow and Drew. Who knows, maybe he will do everyone a favor and take him out for good.

Sonny has had his fair share of killings and chaos. When Michael takes over, he’s going to show Port Charles and Sonny’s enemies who is in charge and what he’s capable of. This Michael will be filled with hate and seeking revenge.
