General Hospital fans know that something isn’t quite adding up when it comes to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) sudden return from the dead. Not only are they both back from the dead, but they are brother and sister, which makes it even more suspicious. Of course, their father is Cesar Faison. He’s known for faking deaths and being one of the biggest villains to appear in the daytime drama. There are suspicions that Nathan is not really Nathan. Could Britt be an imposter as well?

General Hospital Writers Have Something Big Up Their Sleeves

General Hospital fans think Nathan West is not the real deal. After all, he was shot, killed, given a big farewell at his funeral, and buried. Now, seven years later, he shows up out of the blue, ironically, after his sister also returned. Ryan Paevey has stated that he would not return for a vanilla storyline. This seems to pretty much confirm that Nathan’s return isn’t as cut and dry as it seems.

This theory of him being an imposter was further confirmed by the strange looks shared between him and Britt. It was as though they both knew big secrets were being hidden from everyone around them. Plus, she seems to think he should have nothing to do with James. Who exactly is she protecting her nephew from?

Some feel certain that Nathan is really an imposter. Many speculate it could be the evil half-brother, Peter August. It wouldn’t be the first time disguises have been made to impersonate someone else on a soap opera. It also wouldn’t be the first time memories from someone else were installed in someone else’s brain. If Nathan is Peter, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) better watch out.

Is Britt Really Someone Else?

Britt Westbourne appears to be the real deal. However, there is a possibility that the same thing that was done to Nathan was done to Britt as well. What if Faison’s plan all along was to recreate his family to get his evil work done? Writers have previously teased that there is a lot coming with the Obrecht/Faison clan.

It looks like this storyline is just getting started. Spoilers indicate there are a lot of twists and turns that will have fans picking their jaws up off the floor. So the question remains: are Britt and Nathan both impostors?

This brother and sister duo is going to stir the pot in Port Charles. Will any other family members be resurrected from the dead? As November sweeps get closer, fans won’t want to miss an episode.
