‘Counting On’ Katey Duggar Shares Her ‘Tragedy’

Katey Duggar reveals her biggest “tragedy” in an Instagram video. The 27-year-old mom is raising four kids with her husband, Jed Duggar. They already have four kids in less than four years of marriage, which is considered an impressive feat in the Duggar family. But despite having a happy and large family, Katey shares that it has some drawbacks, and it seems many Counting On fans relate. Keep reading to see her video.

Counting On: Katey Duggar Shares Her Tragedy

Katey previously uploaded a short clip on IG featuring how she handles her life as a mother and wife. She revealed that her husband would often leave for work. The video zooms in on Katey’s face, looking sad at Jed’s departure. She then hilariously jumps on Jed’s back, begging him not to leave. She explains it as her everyday tragedy. Katey wrote, “An everyday tragedy 💔 Grateful for a man who faithfully provides SO WELL for our family, but man do we miss him when he’s gone 🥰🤗.”

Across the video, Katey wrote, “pov: you try to be strong but your husband leaving for work is an actual tragedy”

Regardless, she’s thankful for what Jed is doing for their family. Many Counting On fans relate to Katey’s daily struggles. Others also cheered for her for becoming a strong mom.

Katey Is Living Her Best Life

Katey continues embracing her life as a mother despite all the challenges. Last month, Jed’s wife uploaded a video of herself doing house chores. She proudly says she’s a stay-at-home mom, adding that it’s more like a full-time job than many other jobs today. She said, “Not everyone gets to stay home and raise their little ones, and I am grateful to get to be one who can!”

Katey’s post is a response to online trolls asking if she has a job to support her family. She laughs at people asking if that’s all she does before sharing a clip of herself looking after her four kids while vacuuming their house and cooking, all at the same time.
